TradeWorX is hiring an experienced Lead Structural Steel Fabricator to join a growing fabrication team on the 1st shift. This position is ideal for a highly skilled fabricator with true layout experience who can interpret blueprints, fabricate structural steel components, and lead projects from layout through final assembly. Job Duties Assemble welded components into finished products. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and two- or three-dimensional drawings. Perform layout work and determine required materials and dimensions. Assemble, cut, shape, and fit structural steel components to specifications. Operate and maintain fabrication equipment and tools. Perform MIG welding on structural steel. Maintain equipment and a clean, safe work environment. Requirements Structural steel fabrication experience required. True layout experience required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience assembling, cutting, shaping, and fitting structural steel components. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Ability to pass a 5-panel drug screen. Ideal Candidate An experienced structural steel fabricator with strong layout abilities, blueprint reading skills, excellent measuring accuracy, and the ability to produce high-quality work in a production fabrication environment.
