Job Description

Overview

Our welders perform advanced welding and fabrication work, including complex assemblies, structural components, and precision welds, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and flux-core welding to high-quality standards.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components.
  • Conduct fit-ups and alignments prior to welding.
  • Inspect your own work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain welding equipment in good working order.
  • Follow all safety protocols and quality procedures.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of welding/fabrication experience.
  • Ability to pass weld tests in multiple positions.
  • Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills.
  • Experience with multiple welding processes.
  • Welding certification preferred.

Additional Information

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50lbs for extended periods.
  • Regular use of hands, tools, and equipment requiring fine motor skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.
  • Primarily working in a repair shop with exposure to noise, machinery, and moving equipment.
  • May be exposed to varying temperatures, dust, or odors depending on the season and work area.
  • Follows all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Employment in this role may be contingent upon the successful completion of certain pre-employment requirements, which could include a background check, drug screen, or driving record review, depending on the position.
