Job Description

Overview

The position is for a certified welder responsible for welding and assembly/fabrication of Headworks products for the water industry. The role requires proficiency in MIG and TIG welding processes and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Performs MIG or TIG welding duties.
  • Welds steel and stainless steel fabricated parts consistent with Headworks standards and specifications.
  • Records all time on the appropriate job orders at a high degree of accuracy.
  • Performs all job duties at a high level of efficiency and with minimal rework.
  • Works safely and accident-free while aiding co-workers to engage in safe work habits.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient at MIG and or TIG welding processes.
  • Must have 3+ years TIG/MIG welding experience, including using a turntable for Pipe and structural components.
  • Has passed at least one of HWI's approved AWS D1.6 welding qualification tests and understands fabrication drawings.
  • Able to read drawings, weld notations, and fabricate parts to specification.
  • Team player interested in a long-term position in an industry not subject to recessions.
