Overview
The position is for a certified welder responsible for welding and assembly/fabrication of Headworks products for the water industry. The role requires proficiency in MIG and TIG welding processes and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Performs MIG or TIG welding duties.
- Welds steel and stainless steel fabricated parts consistent with Headworks standards and specifications.
- Records all time on the appropriate job orders at a high degree of accuracy.
- Performs all job duties at a high level of efficiency and with minimal rework.
- Works safely and accident-free while aiding co-workers to engage in safe work habits.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient at MIG and or TIG welding processes.
- Must have 3+ years TIG/MIG welding experience, including using a turntable for Pipe and structural components.
- Has passed at least one of HWI's approved AWS D1.6 welding qualification tests and understands fabrication drawings.
- Able to read drawings, weld notations, and fabricate parts to specification.
- Team player interested in a long-term position in an industry not subject to recessions.
