Overview

We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with structural and custom metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and MIG/TIG welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components from blueprints and shop drawings.
• Measure, cut, fit, and weld materials to precise specifications.
• Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, and cutting tools.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of welding/fabrication experience.
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed.
• Welding certifications are a plus but not required.
