Overview

Custom Control Sensors, LLC (CCS) is a global leader in the design, development, manufacturing, and supply of pressure, temperature, and liquid flow switches and sensors for various markets. The Punch Press Operator position involves operating and setting up punch presses under supervision, ensuring quality production, and requires a high school diploma or GED along with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates pre-setup runs on punch press.
• Checks parts to maintain quality production.
• Performs regular manual tasks.
• Insures that output normally equals or exceeds that expected.
• Keeps quality up to acceptable standards with little discrepant work.
• Performs tasks equal to or exceeding established standards.
• Conducts himself/herself in a business-like and civil manner.
• Ability to react to change productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned.
• Performs set-ups and operates a punch press utilizing all types of dies.
• Adjusts shut height required to hold close tolerances and dimensions.
• Checks parts utilizing standard measuring equipment.
• Accomplishes production quotas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months in related field with additional training in a trade school.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident due to ITAR compliance.
• Ability to acquire proficient knowledge of punch press machining.
• Adequate manual dexterity to safely and proficiently perform pre-setups or set-ups on punch press machine.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to work with a number sequence.
• Team oriented with flexibility and adaptability.
