DAC Worldwide is seeking a Manual Machinist/Fabricator to join their team in manufacturing high-quality training equipment. The company offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth and skill development.
Responsibilities
- Produce components through manual machining operations, including shearing, drilling, deburring, and bench work.
- Assemble products according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Inspect and monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Troubleshoot and correct defects to ensure quality standards are met.
- Measure, mark, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication.
- Fabricate jigs and fixtures as needed to support production.
- Perform fit-up and tack welding operations.
- Prepare material edges through beveling and cutting.
- Clean, chip, and grind weldments before and after welding.
Requirements
- 1+ years of machining experience, including milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, and bench operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.

Additional Information
- Day shift only, Monday - Friday.
- Start at 7:00 a.m. and finish at 3:30 p.m.
- No required overtime.
