Overview

DAC Worldwide is seeking a Manual Machinist/Fabricator to join their team in manufacturing high-quality training equipment. The company offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth and skill development.

Responsibilities

  • Produce components through manual machining operations, including shearing, drilling, deburring, and bench work.
  • Assemble products according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Inspect and monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Troubleshoot and correct defects to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Measure, mark, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication.
  • Fabricate jigs and fixtures as needed to support production.
  • Perform fit-up and tack welding operations.
  • Prepare material edges through beveling and cutting.
  • Clean, chip, and grind weldments before and after welding.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of machining experience, including milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, and bench operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.

Additional Information

  • Day shift only, Monday - Friday.
  • Start at 7:00 a.m. and finish at 3:30 p.m.
  • No required overtime.
