Overview
Adare Pharma Solutions is a global Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that provides a wide range of manufacturing, packaging, and research services. The Supervisor for Packaging Mechanics will oversee the operation and maintenance of packaging equipment, ensuring compliance with cGMPs and promoting a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead all Packaging Maintenance activities.
- Plan and schedule work distribution and load, supervising technicians and contractors.
- Optimize Packaging equipment performance and utilization.
- Serve as System Matter Expert (SME) for all Preventative Maintenance and reporting.
- Provide input on work hours needed per project volume and mechanic’s skills capabilities.
- Mentor and develop Mechanics for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop, update, and implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and EH&S guidelines and policies.
- Handle Quality Incident Reports related to Maintenance.
- Manage onsite Contractors and ensure compliance with site cGMP requirements.
- Ensure completion of annual services for critical safety systems.
- Coordinate with other departments to implement site changes.
- Promote cost control, quality improvement, and safety programs.
- Establish training programs to improve technicians' skills.
- Uphold Company policies and codes of conduct.
- Work on special assignments as required by the Engineering Department.
- Assist staff with inspectors from regulatory agencies as needed.
Requirements
- Degree or certification preferred and 5+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing or packaging operations.
- GMP Experience is a must.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams and overseeing hourly employees.
- Knowledge of bottle and blister packaging machine mechanics.
- Experience with solvent/hazardous based processing preferred.
- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to work within a cross-functional team.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Able to prioritize duties and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
