Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld piping systems according to drawings and specifications.
• Cut, fit, and assemble pipe.
• Perform quality checks on welds.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules.
• Maintain equipment and follow safety guidelines.
• Assist with material handling and layout.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues as needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in pipe welding and fabrication.
• Experience with common welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW.
• Strong technical skills in measuring, cutting, and fitting pipe.
• Knowledge of welding codes and standards.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a shop environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding trade program is beneficial.
• Prior experience as a pipe welder or in mechanical contracting is preferred.
• Physical ability to lift materials and perform manual tasks.
