Ingalls Shipbuilding is seeking entry-level Pipe Welders to join their team, responsible for performing pipe welding procedures in a shipyard environment. Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding procedures on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel pipe using Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW).
• Work in a shipyard environment that may involve different heights, confined spaces, and various weather conditions.
• Adhere to safety procedures that meet or exceed industry standards.

Requirements

• Must have graduated from a pipe welder program at a vo-tech school or other training school.
• Training in TIG root and stick fill and cap on steel piping in the 6GR position is required.
