Overview

The Pipefitter position involves using various tools and equipment to complete tasks related to piping systems in a chemical plant environment. The role requires NCCER certification and several years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses appropriate hand tools, power tools and other equipment to accomplish tasks as assigned.
• Completes isometric and layout drawings for new/revised piping systems.
• Performs material takeoffs for the purchase of required fabrication materials.
• Operates forklift, cherry picker and other industrial machinery as needed to complete work orders.

Requirements

• NCCER certified as an Industrial Pipefitter.
• Three to five years experience as a Pipefitter in a chemical plant environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
