Overview
The Field Service Welder position involves interpreting technical drawings, performing repairs on thermocouples, and traveling to various project sites. The WIKA Group is a leader in measurement technology, providing innovative solutions for over 75 years.
Responsibilities
- Interprets installation, reactor and routing drawings.
- Completes the routing and bending of thermocouples.
- Troubleshoots strategies and repairs for thermocouples.
- Performs cold end repair on Tubeskin Thermocouples in the field.
- Takes extended trips to different regions based on project requirements.
- Works in a team under the direction of the crew supervisor.
- Communicates responsibly with customers and crews from different countries.
- Completes and reviews personal expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Conducts themselves with professionalism at all times.
- Performs ancillary duties as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Must be eligible to obtain a valid passport and travel to other countries.
- Required to climb significant heights (+50 stories) and work in confined spaces.
- Must possess strong reading and comprehension skills.
- Must pass customer’s security, safety, and drug testing requirements.
- Accepts responsibilities and is accountable for actions.

- Communicates effectively using spoken language.
