Overview

The Field Service Welder position involves interpreting technical drawings, performing repairs on thermocouples, and traveling to various project sites. The WIKA Group is a leader in measurement technology, providing innovative solutions for over 75 years.

Responsibilities

  • Interprets installation, reactor and routing drawings.
  • Completes the routing and bending of thermocouples.
  • Troubleshoots strategies and repairs for thermocouples.
  • Performs cold end repair on Tubeskin Thermocouples in the field.
  • Takes extended trips to different regions based on project requirements.
  • Works in a team under the direction of the crew supervisor.
  • Communicates responsibly with customers and crews from different countries.
  • Completes and reviews personal expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conducts themselves with professionalism at all times.
  • Performs ancillary duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a valid passport and travel to other countries.
  • Required to climb significant heights (+50 stories) and work in confined spaces.
  • Must possess strong reading and comprehension skills.
  • Must pass customer’s security, safety, and drug testing requirements.
  • Accepts responsibilities and is accountable for actions.
  • Adapts to changes in the workplace while maintaining quality work.
  • Communicates effectively using spoken language.
  • Takes care of customer needs while following company procedures.
