Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Go-Kart Mechanic to join the team, focusing on delivering an exhilarating family entertainment experience. The company is committed to creating a supportive work environment that encourages career growth and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner.
• Project and articulate racing requirements and safety guidelines to Guests.
• Provide a safe racing experience for every participating Guest.
• Perform kart repairs and regular performance maintenance checks.
• Maintain proper kart appearance and functionality.
• Handle emergency situations as directed.
• Conscientiously maintain, repair and clean karts and tracks.
• Ensure tools are used properly and stored in locked cabinets.
• Process Guest races in the Point of Sale and Timing systems.
• Observe, instruct and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
• Assist with Guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Andretti brand, product and policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting with Guests and co-workers.
• Be aware and knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
• Perform Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred.
