Overview

Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) is seeking a Maint Mechanic for their Atlanta, GA location to conduct maintenance activities related to the safety and efficiency of the company's conveyor systems and warehouse facility. RNDC is a family-owned business and one of the nation's largest wine and spirits wholesalers, emphasizing core values of Family, Service, Accountability, Honesty, and Professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain the conveyor system.
• Provide information and recommendations regarding conveyor operations to anticipate potential problems.
• Be on call to respond to breakdowns or problems that interrupt conveyor system operation.
• Determine necessary repairs that require outside mechanical personnel.
• Assist in maintaining the safe operation of forklifts used in the warehouse.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on the entire facility, including lighting repair and minor plumbing.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or maintenance certification program.
• 2-3 years previous maintenance or related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
