Ingalls Shipbuilding is seeking entry-level Pipe Welders to join their team. The company, a major contributor to the U.S. Navy's fleet construction, offers a rewarding career in a dynamic shipyard environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding procedures on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel pipe using Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW).
• Work in a manufacturing setting that operates 24 hours a day.
• Handle various types of metal materials with different welding processes.
• Adhere to safety procedures that meet or exceed industry standards.

Requirements

• Must have graduated from a pipe welder program at a vo-tech school or other training school.
• Training must include TIG root and stick fill and cap on steel piping in the 6GR position.
