Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize mechanical systems by troubleshooting, repairing, and improving mechanical components on high-speed can line equipment.
• Operate and maintain can line equipment, making necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations.
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure components meet quality standards.
• Monitor production flow and resolve issues to prevent disruptions.
• Diagnose mechanical and quality-related problems and apply hands-on solutions.
• Contribute ideas that enhance safety, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; 2-year Trade School preferred.
• 5 plus years of mechanical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools.
• Willingness to operate and maintain can lines by performing and documenting quality checks.

Additional Information

• Starting pay of $34.27 per hour plus shift differential.
• Shifts: Train on 1st shift, then work 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Location: Hammond, Indiana.
