The Pipelayer position in Chandler, AZ involves assisting skilled craft workers and performing various tasks under supervision. The role emphasizes safety, effective communication, and the ability to learn from more experienced team members while contributing to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties.
• Work in other crafts as requested by project supervision.
• Take direction from higher skilled workers or foreman.
• Utilize effective math skills for basic calculations.
• Eliminate waste in processes and materials.
• Ask a supervisor about any uncertainties regarding work or safety practices.
• Learn and understand safety hazards related to the work.
• Safely use or operate work-related tools and equipment.
• Seek opportunities for improvement in tasks and methods.
• Maintain positive working relationships with crew members.
• Produce high-quality work safely and productively.
• Provide feedback to ensure availability of materials and tools.

Requirements

• NCCER Core Curriculum and/or a High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience (level I), two years' experience (level II), and three plus years' experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry preferred.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
