Overview

The Mechanic position at Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort involves maintaining various building systems and ensuring the functionality of guest and service areas. Responsibilities

• Provide shift coverage and possess strong troubleshooting skills in maintenance.
• Maintain guest rooms, meeting spaces, and both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
• Handle kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Read blueprints and schematics as needed.

Requirements

• Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous hotel or large property experience is preferred.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and/or carry at least 50 lbs.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in building maintenance is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems.

Additional Information

• Starting rate is $28.00 per hour.
