Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment, and grounds.
• Installs and maintains a wide variety of pumps, blowers, motors, and HVAC systems.
• Assembles and repairs mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Executes routine preventive maintenance to ensure effective operation of building systems.
• Works from blueprints, drawings, or rough sketches.
• Records and logs work performed on building systems.
• May clean and service equipment containing hazardous substances.
• Operates forklift to move materials and equipment.
• Participates in special teams for snow removal and emergency response.

Requirements

• High School or Trade School diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of general maintenance experience.
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl, and reach for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 35+ pounds and work at heights.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Knowledge of Maximo or other CMMS software and MS Office suites is preferred.
• Strong background in commercial carpentry with knowledge of various installation and repair tasks.

Additional Information

• This role is on-site in Wayne, NJ.
• Travel percentage is less than 10%.
• No relocation is available.
