Job Description

Overview

The Service Welder III position at Ring Power Corporation involves conducting welding tasks safely and efficiently while adhering to company policies and procedures. The role requires maintaining tools, completing training, and contributing to team efforts to enhance work methods and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all assigned work safely, adhering to safety and environmental policies.
  • Maintain a minimum set of tools for disassembling and assembling machine components.
  • Attend and complete required technician training classes.
  • Prepare parts for welding and perform welding as per experience or specified procedures.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area while seeking improvements in work methods and safety.
  • Research repair needs and order parts as necessary.
  • Complete documentation of repairs performed on equipment using appropriate software.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and support team efforts by completing tasks on time.
  • Assist in maintaining proper facility appearance and shop conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 6 months or less of relevant experience.
  • Ability to comprehend written material and communicate effectively.
  • Completion of required training curriculum to be designated a Service Welder III.
  • Thorough knowledge of safety requirements for oxygen/acetylene welding and carbon air arc metal removal.
  • Post High School trade school is desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant Dealer software programs.
  • 3g and 4G SMAW & FCAW certifications are highly desired.

Additional Information

  • Work is typically performed during regular business hours with occasional night, holiday, and weekend requirements.
  • Job has no supervisory responsibility and may involve working independently or as part of a team.
