Overview

Wieland is a global leader in copper and copper alloy manufacturing, processing, and distribution, seeking skilled and experienced Welders for 1st shift positions ranging from entry-level to expert. The role involves working from instructions to perform a variety of welding operations while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts and tack and weld components into assemblies according to production orders.
• Execute welds in accordance with company procedures and documents while meeting defined quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
• Properly maintain tools and equipment assigned to perform duties.

Requirements

• Level I: 1–3 years of experience or education from trade school; capable of MIG and TIG welding but not yet certified for welding under pressure.
• Level II: At least 3–5 years' experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels; certified for welding under pressure.
• Level III: At least 5+ years’ experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels; certified experience and ability to train others.
• Ability to read and apply WPS and read drawings.
• Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
• Ability to perform work in various physical positions and in heavy industrial settings.

• Compensation adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
