Overview

Apex Metal Fabricators is seeking an experienced Flux Core Structural Welder to weld and fabricate structural steel using FCAW processes. The ideal candidate should be able to read blueprints, produce high-quality welds, and work safely in a fast-paced fabrication environment while meeting production and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and Flux Core welding.
  • Read blueprints and weld symbols.
  • Fit, weld, grind, and inspect fabricated parts.
  • Operate welding equipment and hand tools safely.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of MIG/Flux Core welding experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
  • Experience with structural steel preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a welding test.
