Responsibilities
- Execute high-precision pipe welding on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG)
- Perform welding using additional processes: Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW)
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, specifications, and welding procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Support ship construction in a dynamic, 24/7 manufacturing environment including working at heights, within confined spaces, and in varied weather conditions
- Consistently uphold and exceed top-tier safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years hands-on pipe welding experience focused on TIG/GTAW
- Proficiency welding Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel with exacting standards
- Demonstrated skill in SMAW and FCAW processes
- Experience with position pipe welding (2G, 5G, 6G), socket welds, and CuNi pipe welding
- Ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced shipyard environments
- Successful completion of welding tests and background screening
