Overview

Pruitt is seeking candidates to fill a Fitter Welder position at their corporate headquarters in Fort Smith, AR, where they assemble and refurbish equipment used in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and refurbish equipment used in the oil and gas industry.
• Read and work off blueprints and schematics.
• Pass a 3G Flux Core weld test.
• Adhere to strict Quality Standards as Pruitt is Q1 Certified.
• Pass a bend test as a condition of employment.
• Manage time effectively to meet production goals.
• Solve problems logically and work without direct supervision in a team environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in flux core arc welding (FCAW) or Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
• 2 years' experience reading and working off blueprints and schematics.
• Previous experience welding on oil and gas industry equipment is preferred.
• Must become AWS Certified after hire if not already certified.
• Must pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
