Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team. In this role, you will work in various industrial settings and must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Review and comprehend CADD drawings and diagrams, blueprints, sketches, fabrication drawings and submittals for projects.
- Fabricate and install piping without drawings to reference (field route).
- Layout work ahead of welders.
- Measure, cut, weld, assemble, and install pipes.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Work with other construction professionals to complete projects.
- Follow all safety guidelines.
- Complete all tasks in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pipefitter.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (experience may be substituted for education).
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Possess current, valid driver’s license (not under suspension or limitation).
- Have the transportation means to report to multiple job sites as assigned.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests throughout employment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of how mechanical equipment works.
- Strong arithmetic skills, including calculating complex offsets.
- Knowledge of all relevant health and safety guidelines.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting heavy objects and withstanding temperature extremes.
- Ability to work Monday-Friday with occasional overtime during afternoons, evenings and weekends as needed.
