Overview

The Production Blueprint Fabrication Welder position in Sidney, OH, involves reading welding prints and fabricating high-quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires proficiency in TIG and MIG welding and emphasizes safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Set up welding jobs and follow defined production processes from start to finish.
  • Fabricate to spec using samples, templates, fixtures, blueprints, and routers.
  • Perform in-process checks to confirm dimensional accuracy and weld integrity.
  • Document time and job details accurately.
  • Safely handle raw materials and finished parts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
  • Complete basic maintenance and care on welding equipment.
  • Operate a tow motor (forklift) as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of welding experience (manufacturing background preferred).
  • TIG preferred; MIG experience a plus.
  • Ability to pass a written and hands-on weld test (H (2F) position with multiple weld sizes).
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints and welding prints.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn tow motor/forklift operation.
  • High attention to detail; strong safety and quality mindset.

  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
