Job Description
Overview
As a Welder II, you will be responsible for assembling and welding various subassemblies and assemblies of moderate to advanced complexity using specialized equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, align, square up, fit, stiffen and tack weld a variety of subassemblies and assemblies.
- Use B/Ms, steel tape, straight edge, squarer, clamps, jacks fixtures, templates and similar equipment.
- Fit parts using torch or carbon arc or hand grinding equipment to facilitate alignment and assembly.
- Set up and regulate pressure for oxyacetylene torch.
- Select electrode size and type, tips and weld.
