Job Description
Overview
The Night Shift Welder/Fitter position involves performing structural welding and fitting on large steel poles in a heavy manufacturing environment. The job requires working night shifts from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, with opportunities for overtime on Fridays and some Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural welding and fitting on large steel poles.
- Use Metalcore and Flux Core (FCAW) welding techniques.
- Read and follow blueprints and weld drawings.
- Fit, align, and assemble large structural components.
- Complete required weld and fitting tests (1G plate).
- Inspect welds for quality and accuracy.
