Job Description

Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines, facility and wastewater treatment plant in accordance with Key Performance measures, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety/regulatory requirements, and operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots, repairs/rebuilds, and performs preventive maintenance on plant and equipment including pumps, pneumatic controls, valves, agitators, and motor bearings.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with the operation and maintenance of plant utility equipment, including HVAC, hot water pumps, motors, electrical panels, environmental sensors, coolers, boilers, air compressors, and substations.
  • Operates machine shop equipment such as drill press, grinder, milling machine, gas and electric welder, and power cutting tools.
  • Overhauls and installs new equipment.
  • Diagnoses mechanical/electrical problems and determines how to correct them using blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
  • Rebuilds and fabricates parts.
  • Additional accountability and responsibilities provided by Arcadia leadership.

Requirements

  • A vocational or Associate’s degree in an electrical or maintenance related field or High School Diploma with 4 years of on-the-job electrical and/or maintenance experience.
  • Ability to work training/orientation hours Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM for 4 weeks.
