Responsibilities
- Repairs and services mechanical, electrical, and other components of a tractor using necessary tools.
- Determines areas needing repair to meet customer expectations.
- Diagnoses and repairs truck breakdowns, including engine repairs and rebuilds.
- Performs repairs to transmission, driveline, and differentials.
- Completes all forms and documents associated with repairs accurately.
- Represents the company professionally in all interactions.
- Wears proper personal protective equipment.
- Keeps work areas clean and organized.
- Stays current with technical literature.
- Performs Preventative Maintenance according to company procedures.
- Repairs engine accessory components.
- Performs other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License (CDL preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with welding, fabrication, or trailer repair preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform hands-on tasks safely.
