Overview

This position is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation for qualified candidates to work as a Welder, responsible for safely operating tools and welding equipment to produce parts based on various instructions and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture or repair common metal parts assemblies or components of various equipment.
• Select proper tools, welding materials, and heat range for different metals and thicknesses.
• Safely operate various types of welding equipment.
• Prepare areas to be welded by cleaning, fitting, chipping, grinding, cutting, and slag removal.
