Job Description
Overview
The WELDER SUPERVISOR I position is responsible for overseeing work assignments and projects in the STRUCTURAL AND FABRICATION SHOP at PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. This role involves planning, scheduling, and promoting management programs to ensure effective operations.
Responsibilities
- Plan work assignments of personnel and equipment.
- Facilitate scheduling qualifications and training.
- Develop specialized skills and procedures.
- Schedule, coordinate, and direct work projects according to needs and schedules.
- Provide input to develop processes and procedures for accomplishing work.
- Promote and administer management programs such as safety and quality assurance.
