Overview
ARC Fabricators is seeking experienced Welders/Fabricators who enjoy custom steel fabrication. This position offers competitive pay and benefits in a small team environment with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Follow instructions accurately.
- Collaborate with plant manager, shop supervisor, customers, drafters, and peers to produce finished products.
- Demonstrate proficiency in modern welding techniques and equipment.
- Apply wire and filler material applications for various steel fabrication tasks.
- Utilize manual and power tools for finish grinding applications.
- Employ knowledge of various machines, welding practices, mathematics, and building materials.
- Read, understand, and follow detailed drawings and blueprint specifications.
- Perform all job functions safely by adhering to safety policies and good housekeeping practices.
- Handle other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 2-3 years of welding experience.
- Metal fabrication experience, preferably in welding.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and understand tape measures and calculators.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

Additional Information
- Work hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Exposed to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and heat with proper PPE provided.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
