Landscape Structures is a leader in commercial playground equipment design and manufacturing, dedicated to creating inclusive play spaces for children. The Stainless Steel Welder/Finisher position involves performing metal finishing work on stainless steel products, contributing to the company's mission of transforming outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish stainless-steel slides and other products.
• Grind, file, or sand surfaces of metal items, specifically stainless-steel slides.
• Perform TIG welding as required.
• Use hand tools and power tools to detect and remove defects in metal surfaces.
• Smooth surfaces of items to specified finishes using hand tools and powered tools.
• Polish metal surfaces using powered polishing wheels or belts.

Requirements

• Knowledge of finishes #2, #3, and mirror finish.
• TIG welding experience preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• 5 to 7 years of prior experience as a Stainless Steel Finisher in any industry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently on a regular basis.
• Must pass a skills and quality test prior to hiring.
