Overview

Med-Trans is immediately hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) for a full-time opportunity in San Angelo, TX. The technician will be responsible for the maintenance and safety of the fleet, ensuring high-quality transportation services and customer care.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs, and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, update the equipment tracking log, and document part expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information as required, adhering to policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors, and team members using appropriate communication methods.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and the operations team.

Requirements

• Bell 407 and/or EC135 maintenance experience.
• Three years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State issued Driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
