Overview

RealTruck is a premier manufacturer of accessories for truck, Jeep®, Bronco®, and off-road enthusiasts, currently hiring a Welder in Lafayette, IN. The role involves TIG welding stainless steel parts and accessories for semis, along with other related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on products.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications, work orders and/or prints.
• Cut aluminum to specification.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
• Work from specifications, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Perform MIG & TIG welding on products.
• Perform cosmetic welding on products.
• Meet daily productivity and output goals.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions.
• Repair product and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year of TIG Welding experience or recent certification from a manufacturing or technical program.

Additional Information

• Day Shift Only; Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4:00pm.
