Overview

We are a veteran-owned contractor supporting critical projects, maintenance, and outage work across the United States. We are looking for an experienced pipefitter to join our team, responsible for installing, modifying, and repairing piping systems while adhering to safety precautions.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret drawings/design change procedures to install piping systems.
  • Have extensive knowledge on fitting pipe consisting of various materials such as steel, copper, copper-nickel, galvanized and stainless.
  • Use power and hand tools required for metal fabrication.
  • Prep piping for welding and perform different types of bevels.
  • Adhere to all site and company rules, regulations, and PPE requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 years minimum of industrial pipe fitting experience, nuclear experience a plus.
  • Ability to pass background screens and drug/alcohol testing as required.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel extensively.
  • TWIC card a plus.

Additional Information

  • Ability to work 10+ hours per day, up to 7 days/week.
  • Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions, with possible exposure to radiation or chemicals.
  • Ability to perform field work in all areas of the job site, including climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolds.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, if needed.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and lift up to 20 pounds overhead.
