Overview

Remedy Staffing is hiring MIG Welders for a local fabrication shop in Tyler, TX. We're looking for dependable individuals who can produce quality welds while working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on steel components according to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, weld symbols, and production drawings.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure parts are produced to print and meet dimensional specifications.
  • Inspect materials and completed welds for defects, quality, and accuracy.
  • Perform visual weld inspections and identify areas requiring rework or repair.
  • Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and gauges to verify specifications.
  • Grind, clean, and prepare metal surfaces before and after welding as needed.
  • Maintain production quotas while ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Complete all required production, quality, and safety documentation accurately and on time.
  • Report equipment issues, material shortages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and movement of fabricated parts throughout the facility.

Additional Information

  • Job Location: Tyler, TX
  • Pay: $18.50/hr
  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Friday: 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Saturday (as needed): 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
