Overview

Weldall Manufacturing, Inc. is a family-owned company that has been providing best-in-class service and quality products since 1973. They are seeking experienced fitter-welders for 1st and 2nd shifts to join their team and contribute to their commitment to quality and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Read and comprehend welding instructions and structural drawings.
  • Verify correct quantity and quality of parts welded.
  • Layout stitch welds; locations of weld and weld size for welders.
  • Work from drawings, patterns, fixtures and specifications.
  • Layout and operate both fuel gas and plasma hand torches for fitting purposes.
  • Move material using a forklift and crane according to standard operating procedure, safety regulations and practices.
  • Assist with welding as needed.
  • Perform cleaning, assembly, and straightening operations as directed by Supervision.
  • May be required to perform welding processes such as GMAW, Flux, Sub Arc, etc.
  • Comply with all quality policies, specifications and instructions.
  • Consistently come to work.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years’ experience as an open table fitter.
  • Expert level blueprint reading ability.
  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Heavy manufacturing in a job shop environment is a plus.
