Overview

A reputable, long-running creative design/custom signage company is seeking an experienced Sign Fabricator to join their growing team. In this hands-on role, you will help build custom architectural signage, including channel letters, post and panel systems, and wayfinding signs, requiring strong metalworking and welding skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble signs according to production drawings and specifications
• Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on aluminum and steel
• Operate fabrication tools and machinery such as brakes, shears, punches, saws, and drill presses
• Take 100% accurate measurements to ensure components fit properly
• Select, cut, and modify materials according to clients' specifications
• Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Take good care of tools and equipment
• Notify supervisors of any defective equipment or other issues
• Coordinate as a team with production, installation, project management, and design departments
• Follow safety protocols and keep your workspace neat and organized

Requirements

• 2+ years of architectural sign fabrication or metalworking experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques
• Familiar with blueprint reading and measuring tools
• Must be able to pass a background check

Additional Information

• Overtime and occasional weekends as needed
