A local manufacturer in Ann Arbor is seeking a Production MIG Welding Technician who can turn blueprints into precise assemblies. The role involves early starts and productive days in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and fit components into welding fixtures precisely and efficiently.
• Set up a gas-shielded MIG welder and complete welds that meet job specifications.
• Read and apply welding blueprints and symbols without missing a detail.
• Leverage hand tools, clamps, and grinders to prepare and finish work.
• Handle routine maintenance on welding equipment to keep uptime high.

Requirements

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience.
• Ability to confidently read welding blueprints.
• Fluency in tape measure reading, production welding setups, and blueprint interpretation.
