Overview

Viron International designs and manufactures custom industrial air cleaning systems, providing unmatched quality and expertise for over five decades. They are seeking a dynamic and hands-on TIG Welder to join their First Shift team in Temple, Texas, responsible for building custom air cleaning systems.

Responsibilities

  • Operating shop equipment, hand tools, and various machines.
  • Cutting, forming, grinding, drilling, fitting, and fabricating sheet metal fittings and duct work.
  • Ensuring all equipment is properly set up and used safely with all safety devices in use.
  • Operating a forklift if required and trained.
  • Performing first piece inspections and all subsequent inspections as required.
  • Monitoring equipment and requesting maintenance when needed.
  • Performing simple maintenance and repair as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Able to work Monday – Friday, 10 hours per day with overtime on Saturday as needed.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • TIG welding experience required.
  • Proficient mathematical skills.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Familiar with blueprints.
  • Willing to learn with training provided for 2 weeks.
  • Willing to work at a fast pace.
