Overview

Our customer in South Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as a TIG Welder. The role involves performing precision welding, fabricating piping and sheet metal systems, and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and nickel alloy components with precision and consistency.
• Fabricate process piping and sheet metal assemblies according to blueprints and specifications.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, technical documents, and P&ID diagrams to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Maintain ASME Section IX quality standards and meet weld test requirements.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to meet project goals.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Participate in process improvement and quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year TIG welding experience.
• Proven ability to pass ASME Section IX 6G weld test.
• Strong understanding of shop drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience with process piping or sheet metal fabrication.
• Familiarity with P&ID drawings is preferred.

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm.
• Pay: $24–$32/hour.
