Overview

The Metal Fabrication & Assembly Technician position is essential for the efficient handling, processing, and preparation of steel materials in a manufacturing warehouse. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and maintaining metal components to meet specifications and quality standards while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain metalworking machinery such as shears, presses, and welding equipment to fabricate steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate production of metal parts.
• Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with safety and manufacturing standards.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse to support continuous production flow.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Assist in loading and unloading steel materials and products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
