Overview

We are seeking a skilled Shop Welder to fabricate, assemble, repair, and test overhead cranes and related equipment. The ideal candidate will perform welding and mechanical repairs, complete final assembly, and ensure all equipment is built to specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, repair, and test overhead cranes and related equipment.
• Perform welding and mechanical repairs.
• Complete final assembly of equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is built to specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Proficient in welding and mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Computer literate with the ability to use basic computer programs and production systems.
• Ability to communicate professionally and interface with internal and external customers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs and work safely in a manufacturing/shop environment.
