A Custom metal fabrication company located in the Comstock Park/ Walker area is seeking MIG Welders for steady work with strong overtime opportunities. The company specializes in precision sheet metal fabrication and welding, offering a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision MIG welding on fabricated metal parts according to specifications.
• Accurately read and interpret engineering blueprints and schematics.
• Measure components and maintain tight tolerances throughout the welding process.
• Set up and adjust welding machines to achieve optimal performance and quality standards.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in MIG welding.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading.
• Demonstrated ability to measure accurately and work with tight tolerances.
• Strong understanding of welding machine operation and setup.
• Ability to stand for the entire duration of the shift.
• Capable of lifting 25–50+ lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working in a loud, industrial, and potentially dirty environment.
• Must adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
