Overview
This entry-level Machine Operator role offers the opportunity to work in the semiconductor industry on either 1st shift or 2nd shift. The position involves operating orbital welding and tube-cutting equipment to support the production of gas weldments for gas panels, ensuring high-quality, precision components.
Responsibilities
- Operate orbital welding machines to manufacture gas weldments for gas panels.
- Perform basic mechanical inspections on parts after they come off the machine.
- Operate a saw (tube cutting) machine to cut tubing to required lengths.
- Set up, run, and monitor production machinery for consistent output.
- Work within a cleanroom environment, following cleanliness procedures.
- Read and interpret prints and work orders for part requirements.
- Use measuring devices to verify dimensions and specifications.
- Perform or support Asymmetric Views Rolling with training provided.
- Apply mechanical aptitude and use hand tools for assembly.
- Conduct quality inspections and document results.
- Collaborate with a team to meet production goals.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Be flexible to support future schedule changes and occasional Saturday work.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a manufacturing role.
- Demonstrated experience as a machine operator or mechanical quality inspector.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools.
- Ability to read prints or work orders.
- Ability to use measuring devices for dimensional inspection.
- Comfort working in a cleanroom environment.
- Verified reliability and consistent work history.
- Willingness to work either 1st or 2nd shift with flexibility.

Additional Information
- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
- The standard schedule offers 1st shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 2nd shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
- Expect flexibility for occasional Saturday work and potential future schedule adjustments.
- The environment involves both cleanroom and general production areas.
