Overview

The Welder/Fabricator position in North Canton, OH involves hands-on fabrication and welding of metal components using MIG and TIG techniques, along with reading blueprints and operating various fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on fabrication and welding of metal components using MIG and TIG techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate part fabrication.
• Operate various fabrication equipment and tools, including plasma cutters, press brakes, hand and power tools.
• Measure and verify dimensions of parts using calipers, tape measures, and gauges.
• Perform sheet metal work, pipe threading, frame/guard fabrication, and mechanical assembly tasks.
• Inspect finished products for quality, fit, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and complete projects on schedule.
• Assist with additional shop tasks such as machining, soldering, rigging, and assembly as needed.
• Maintain commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
