Overview

A client is seeking a Fabrication Welder to join a growing manufacturing team. This role is suited for individuals who take pride in precision craftsmanship and have experience in welding, fabrication, and metalworking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal components using engineering drawings and work instructions
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on structural and sheet metal assemblies
• Cut, bend, fit, and prepare materials using fabrication equipment and machinery
• Verify dimensions and quality using precision measuring tools
• Assemble mechanical components and complete finishing work as required
• Maintain a safe, organized work area while following established safety standards
• Work closely with production teams to complete projects accurately and on schedule

Requirements

• Previous experience in welding and metal fabrication within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with MIG and TIG welding processes
• Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and mechanical prints
• Experience operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes, plasma cutters, and related shop tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Familiarity with ASME welding standards is beneficial
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, machining, or industrial maintenance is a plus
• Forklift experience is helpful but not required
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
