Overview

Lincoln Electric is a high-performance industrial machinery and technology leader that helps customers manufacture and maintain vital equipment and infrastructure. The Welder position involves working with the Fabrication Manager and coworkers to ensure jobs meet specifications and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Lift or move materials and finished products using overhead cranes / hi-lo.
• Hammer, chip, and grind workpieces to cut, bend, prep, and/or straighten materials.
• Lay out and examine materials for continuity to the required code/specification.
• Tack weld joints when approved and in accordance with the WPS and personal WPQR.
• Notify CWI for necessary/required pre-weld inspection and sign-off.
• Position, align, and fit parts to form complete weldments, following drawings and layout specifications.
• Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions and irregularities.
• Document actions by completing production timesheets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED, certificate in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent work experience.
