Overview

As a Welder at Wabtec, you will work with a diverse team to deliver quality products while following engineering drawings and work instructions. Your role will focus on assembling various products, ensuring quality, and prioritizing safety in the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Position, align, and fit components together.
  • Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them for welding.
  • Set up equipment and weld parts using various welding techniques.
  • Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment for assembly operations.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others as a team player.
